Yearbook: Profile of BFA Grantees

Since its inception in 2001, the Beaumont Foundation of America (BFA) has supported 512 schools, 1058 community organizations and 1385 individuals by providing grants of technology equipment valued at more than $60 million. We are proud to partner with each grantee, and we are inspired by their work daily to support digital inclusion in the United States.

BFA, a nonprofit charitable organization, believes that given access to technology and the information inherent in its use, individuals will have a more equal opportunity for advancement. Public, private, parochial, and charter schools and community institutions and nonprofit organizations therefore must serve individuals at or below 50 percent of the federal poverty level to be eligible.

Another prerequisite for funding is collaboration. We serve as an example by allying with national organizations to assist in targeting underserved populations. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Operation Connect and the Salvation Army's eQuip for Success are two major partners joining our effort. Through these collaborations, we enhance the impact of our philanthropy and affirm the power of community involvement.
