FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2005 EDUCATION GRANTS

The Beaumont Foundation of America (BFA) is pleased to announce its 2005 Education grant process for schools. The Foundation will award state-of-the-art wireless technology equipment to public, private, parochial, and charter schools in this cycle.

Grants will be available for schools in BFA’s A states: Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

“It’s exciting to return to our original states with an improved application process,” said President and CEO Frank Newton. “We hope 2005 schools match last year’s recipients with the ability to integrate technology successfully into the classroom.”

From October 4 to 22, 2004, the Foundation will accept online Letters of Interest from qualified schools. Potential applicants can determine eligibility on the BFA website, http://www.bmtfoundation.com/grants/, and, if applicable, submit a Letter of Interest.

Since 2001, BFA has awarded approximately 2,000 Education, Community and Individual grants throughout the United States. Information on past grant awards also is available in the Yearbook section of the website.
