History

Established in 2001, the Beaumont Foundation of America supports the use of technology to enhance and advance the lives of underprivileged individuals and populations. Among criteria the Foundation considers to determine giving are maximum use of granted equipment and collaboration with partners in the community. Alliances with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Salvation Army augment the impact of our philanthropy and build community. We believe these characteristics extend the benefit of our grants and yield positive social change.

Since 2002 we have instituted pilot programs in seven states with equipment valued at $6 million, have awarded $27 million worth of equipment in 2003 to more than 150 schools and 620 community organizations, and by the end of 2004, we will have reached Americans of every color and creed in every state in the nation.
