Frank Newton, President and Chief Executive Officer, served as Dean and Professor of Law at Texas Tech University School of Law from 1985 until 2002, when he assumed leadership of the Beaumont Foundation of America. In addition to his services as an attorney and legal educator, Dean Newton helped devise the Interest on Lawyer’s Trust Account Program, which has raised more than $70 million for legal aid programs since 1984. He was named by Texas Lawyer Magazine as one of the 102 most influential Texas lawyers of the century, and the State Bar of Texas annually presents an award in his name to lawyers who provide outstanding pro bono services.

Edward Keller, Chief Operating Officer, has more than 28 years of law enforcement experience, eight with the Maryland State Police and the remainder with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which includes experience in operational, investigative, administrative, and managerial assignments throughout the United States.

Craft, General Counsel and CFO, a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, received his J.D. in 1989 from the South Texas College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.




Carol S. Eddins, Director of Grants received a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Texas Tech University. She taught school in Lubbock and Port Arthur.  A life-long resident of Southeast Texas,  she has worked with nonprofit organizations and led efforts to raise funds for numerous community endeavors.
